Gough, Harry Dorsey, 1745-1808

This collection primarily contains legal and personal papers of Harry Dorsey Gough (1745-1808) as well as some business and personal correspondence of Harry Dorsey Gough Carroll (1797-1866).

This collection contains the personal, family and farm accounts of Harry Dorsey Gough of Perry Hall (Baltimore County, Md.).

The papers of Harry Dorsey Gough include a large numbers of indentures and documents dealing with tracts of land in Baltimore and Harford counties. Also included are miscellaneous letters of H. Bengough, Charles Carroll, Charles Ridgely, A. Wiesenthal, etc. The collection contains letters and a memo book of Harry Dorsey Gough, 1790-1797, with papers of James Carroll as executor; inventory of estate of Gough, 1808, showing property room by room, list of debts, and administration accounts.
