This oral history collection contains interviews with ten women, between 1992-1994, who worked as secretaries in the 1940s. Their places of work included the Social Security Administration, law firms, the National Art Gallery, high schools, and hospitals, among others. Small Ethnic Credit Institutions in Baltimore oral history collection

This oral history, OH 8029, consists of three interviews with officers of the Garibaldi Federal Savings and Loan Association, established in the 1920s to provide mortgages to poor Italian families.
