Scope and Contents From the Collection: The collection consists of 734 modern photoprints made at the Maryland Historical Society in the 1980s from glass plate negatives that were created circa 1890-1930.The images in this collection encompass all aspects of Maryland social, political and economic history, including: buildings, monuments, cemeteries, schools, businesses, industry, recreation, streets, transportation, residences, and parks.
