Mencken-Malone collection
The collection is a series of letters from Henry L. Mencken, Baltimore author, to Professor Kemp Malone, Professor of Linguistics at Johns Hopkins U. during 1933-50. There is also a letter from Professor Carl Bode to Professor Kemp Malone.
Oliver record books
Robert Oliver was a wholesale merchant, and an importer and exporter. This collection consists of account books, day books, ledgers, journals, and letter books kept during his various mercantile partnerships.
Reverend Charles W. Baldwin letter book

Shriver collection
The Shriver collection consists of daybooks, ledgers, cash books, and other accounts of the Shriver family businesses at Union Mills, Carroll County, Maryland (flour milling, saw millings, tanning, stores at Petersburgh and Big Pipe Creek). A majority of the collection is comprised of correspondence between the various members of the Shriver family concerning business and family happenings.
Troop family letters
This collection consists of xerox copies of letters to and from Mrs. Elizabeth McKerlie Troop, the widow of Captain Andrew Troop who was lost at sea. The letters date 1815 to 1891 and deal primarily with the Troop family estate.
