This collection contains land deeds, leases, inheritance documents, and a letter pertaining to the Buzby family of Baltimore, 1850-1923.
Carey land papers
The Carey land papers consists of deeds and indentures related to Carey's land ownership and management, circa 1786-1829. Also included is a letter from James Tilghman to his son Thomas Tilghman, James Carey's will, and genealogical notes and correspondence on the Carey family, circa 1901 and undated.
Certificates of surveys, Annapolis lots
Negative photostatic copies of certificates to show the re-survey of Annapolis, Maryland and appropriation of lands for various buildings, etc. The re-survey was commissioned by a special act of the Assembly in 1718.
