Carroll-Maccubbin papers
This collection consists of the Baltimore Company (ironworks) records (1730-1805) which include land papers, minutes, correspondence, financial records, and memoranda. Also in the collection are papers of James [Maccubbin] Carroll and his sons James Carroll (1791-1873), Harry Dorsey Gough Carroll, and Charles Ridgely Carroll (1800-1870). Their papers pertain mainly to property they owned in Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties and Baltimore City.
Carroll-McTavish papers
These papers concern the settlement of the estates of Charles Carroll of Carrollton (1737-1832) and of his grandson-in-law Robert Patterson (1781-1822). The collection includes correspondence, vouchers, legal and land records. There are also some papers of John McTavish (1787-1852) and his wife Emily Caton McTavish (1793-1867).
Carroll Taney Bond papers
This collection contains letters regarding the Broad Arrow mark, as well as the diary of Carroll Taney Bond.
Carter papers
This collection contains the business correspondence of Robert Carter of Nomini Hall, Virginia. Most of the letters concern Carter's investment in the Baltimore Iron Works and the day-to-day running of the company.

Also included are some penciled notes on Carroll genealogy, and recipes are on blank pages in another and more modern hand.

Letters from Charles Carroll of Annapolis (1702-82) to Clement Hill and Basil Waring, in regard to a dispute between Charles Carroll of A. and his nephew, Charles Carroll of Duddington (1729-1819). (Charles Carroll of A. had been administrator of nephew's affairs, and in 1759 Messrs. Hill and Waring became arbitrators of all accounts, debts, actions, etc., between them>)
