Abstract This collection includes the papers of Captain Edwin F. Greene, a master of the Baltimore coffee fleet in the late 19th-early 20th century. Includes many papers (receipts, payrolls, code books, accounts, manifestos, logs, etc.) relating to ships Capt. Greene mastered or inspected - such as "City of Montreal," "Grace Deering," "Hinkley," "Jason," "Julia," "Liberator," "Packet," "Rosella Smith," "West Gaven," "West Helix," and "Xenia." Many of these papers deal with voyages to South America....
